Exploring our Senses!

 Hi everyone, 

We had a very busy and fun September settling back into school. We are so happy to be in 1st class! We will keep you updated on this blog about activities we are doing in class. 😀😀😀

We did a Science experiment last week in the classroom. In class we talked about our 5 senses: Sight, Hearing, Touch, Taste and Smell. We discussed how important each of our senses are. Then we did an experiment. We had to identify food using only our sense of smell. The foods were jelly, beans, coffee, lemon, garlic, cheese, coffee and onion. We found some of the food stinky! We realised how important our sense of smell is. 👃
